Hi! I am Dr. Micayla and I am so glad you are here! I was born and raised in Port Angeles, WA. I fell in love with horses at a young age, and still ride my horses when I am not in the office. You can also always find me with a dog beside me, ready for our next adventure!

I was born directly into the chiropractic world- literally. When I was born, it was unfortunately a traumatic birth for both my mom and I, and I was not breathing when I was placed on the birthing table. My dad who is also a chiropractor was in the room and walked over and held my tiny head in his hands. He adjusted the very first vertebrae in my neck, and I started breathing and crying. He describes this adjustment as popping a grape between his fingers. The doctors and nurses told this story for years and referred to it as a miracle. And since then, I knew that I wanted to care for little ones and help them have an easier entrance into this world than I did.

I chose to move to Davenport Iowa and go to school at Palmer College of Chiropractic. There were several personal family issues that could have stopped me from going to school, but I am so glad I pushed forward. I graduated in October of 2023 and fell in love with watching people heal through chiropractic.

I have had the opportunity to support women through their pregnancies, only to come full circle in caring for their newborn babies with gentle and specific chiropractic care, thanks to my certification in Webster Technique, as well as additional training and education within the ICPA.

Most of all, I am so excited to start this new journey with all of you, and share my passion for chiropractic care! There is always a place for you at Coastal Chiropractic, no matter what season of life you are in. I will see you soon!
